There is no other choice than to do it.
You get to choose which horse the stable owner wants. You can take it or leave it.
This is what some people prefer. This means we are not responsible and can get out of the way. It takes away the responsibility for our emotional labor. It’s okay to let someone else worry about it.
We give up our freedom and agency to avoid taking responsibility.
There is still an option: You can choose to stay or go in the stable.
We make a choice every time we pick a job, vote (or not), or choose a path. It is our responsibility to determine what happens after that.
