It’s not helping adults develop a good golf swing that’s the most difficult part of being an instructor.

Teachers (leaders/organizers/coaches) have two jobs. First, they must earn students’ enrollment. The second is teaching.
If the student refuses to open up, is afraid to let go, then improvement will be difficult.
Resistance is wily. It will find a thousand excuses to stay closed, stories about entitlement, safety or cultural dynamics. It will do whatever it takes to remain still. One thing will be replaced by another when you extinguish the first.
