It was inevitable. It’s interesting to ask, “How long until they disappear?”
Someone has to first decide that this is their responsibility. They then have to form a quorum and approve the radical change from what was always there, but didn’t appear to be broken. They must then take on responsibility for the next steps. They have to then manage a tech-intervention with others who find it easier to just leave things the way they are while they focus on other priorities.
It is easier to be an observer than to lead.
