We have the opportunity to create something that generates value and connection. A system that undermines dignity and agency is unstable.
It may work for a time, but ultimately it will fail. It’s easy to imagine how forces that seek control could double down on their efforts and make things worse.
Finding opportunities and connecting with others is the alternative.
When we insist on power, control and resilience instead of resilience, responsibility and agency, it takes confidence and compassion to do so.
