All tech is not new tech
Ballpoint pens were a revelation and somewhat controversial. It’s now disposable and obvious.
Different industries have tech surges. There are many items on my desk that I use daily (a mouse and headphones, a Solid-State Drive, transparent tape and even a Star Trek Communicator) which were once risky innovations, but now have become commonplace.
It’s easy to wait when technology is coming too fast. Early adopters are at risk.
Our aversion to technology should be deliberate. It’s possible that it is time to rethink the technology we said we didn’t have time to learn.
The tools we use can change the way we work.
