Facts almost never get in way of a great story.
Because a good story feels real.
A good story is memorable.
A great story is built on our emotions, which are long-held and hard-earned.
No matter what the facts may be, a good story will stay with you.
If I present facts to refute your story, they’ll fail… unless I provide the foundation for a brand new story. A story about doing something smarter, based on evidence, or simply more efficient.
However, facts are not enough to win a battle against the odds. A good story is better.
Making changes is part of being a change agent.
