convenience fee

It’s not always worth it to walk a few miles. For example, you might be charged $1 for using your ATM or credit card.

Sometimes it is, as when we pay a premium for plastic-wrapped fruits and vegetables that won’t degrade within our lifetime.

It could be that you choose to drive through Starbucks instead of going inside or brewing coffee yourself at home.

Or choose media to consume simply because it is right there and not a few mouse clicks away…

The convenience fees are increasing, whether they be literal or not.

A convenient life isn’t necessarily a better one. Costs of convenience are too high.
