Since years, I have used this photo of Neil Armstrong to tell my story about meeting him and listening to his speech at one of his final public appearances.

I was not there when the photo was taken so I used Google images to locate it:

I compounded Google’s mistake. Sorry, Buzz.

Neil was in charge of the camera. The long selfie stick was used to take the photos of him. In all the iconic photos, you can see a tiny reflection of Neil in Buzz Aldrin’s visor.

It is important that someone holds the camera metaphorically. The problem is that they are often not included in the picture. They’re still doing important work.
