Talos Foundation is a Hong Kong-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting neurodiversity, advocating for individuals with special needs, and raising awareness about invisible disabilities. Established in 2021, Talos operates as a Section 88 Charitable Organization, contributing to the well-being of communities in Hong Kong and across Asia. Our mission is threefold: Community Awareness, Corporate Awareness, and Normalizing Employment for neurodivergent individuals. We actively engage in initiatives that challenge societal stereotypes and foster an inclusive environment. With nearly thirty distribution points in Hong Kong, Talos offers free awareness products, including lanyards and buttons adorned with the universal symbol of neurodiversity and invisible disabilities. Our outreach extends beyond awareness to corporate spaces, where our low-cost and no-cost training programs have reached global entities. Talos is committed to collaborating exclusively with trainers who identify as neurodiverse, setting an example for meaningful employment opportunities. Additionally, Talos hosts the monthly event “Splice the Mainbrace” at Café 8, in partnership with Nesbitt Centre, Jockey Club Sarah Roe School, its PTA, and Special Needs Network Hong Kong. This event not only creates employment opportunities for neurodiverse individuals but also fosters community support. As we look toward the future, Talos Foundation remains dedicated to breaking down barriers, fostering understanding, and creating opportunities for neurodivergent individuals in Hong Kong and the wider Asia Pacific region.
